WHAT IS RSVP?
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is America's largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over, consisting of over 400,000 volunteers nationwide. The United Way RSVP is a local volunteer program that provides the critical link between volunteers and the needs in Manitowoc County. We recruit and place volunteers at non-profit public organizations, including community events and special projects.
Our mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.
When you volunteer, you’re not just helping others—you’re helping yourself. Volunteering leads to new discoveries and new friends. Volunteering is an excellent way for people to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle, make an impact on the unmet needs in our community, and promote a positive outlook on life.
