Make a Difference this December with United Way Manitowoc County

United Way Manitowoc County’s biggest end-of-year fundraiser is here!

December is Donor Match Month  and United Way has partnered with area businesses to raise $15,500, half of United Way’s total December goal of $31,000. United Way now needs your help to raise the rest. Gifts of any size make a huge difference.

A gift will help support programs like Ride United and Born Learning as well as community coalition work designed to address issues like homelessness, hunger, school readiness and mental health.

Success Stories:

  • Ride United helps Manitowoc County residents struggling with transportation to better access employment, education, basic needs and health care throughout the year. Donations help sustain this program’s impact of improving financial stability of those experiencing homelessness, who have a limited income, or are living paycheck to paycheck.

  • The Hunger Coalition just completed a food security survey and results demonstrate why Manitowoc County residents might be struggling to get food. Donations will help The Hunger Coalition fund programs and services designed to improve access to food.

Donations can be designated to one or more of United Way Manitowoc County’s key initiatives: Basic Needs, Early Childhood, and Youth Development, or to the organization’s Community Action Fund in support of all United Way initiatives.

Will you help United Way reach their goal of $31,000? In addition to improving lives right here in Manitowoc County,  Donor Match Month donors that give a gift of $52 or more automatically qualify to receive TWO ENTRIES into United Way’s “Give to Win Sweepstakes” for a chance to win one of these five prizes:
